I’m 20, How Good is Medi-Cal
M20, simple ER visit, took the (w)ambulance to the hospital. Was in and out in 2.5 hours.
It’s seems the biggest expense will be the ambulance and the IV they gave me. Was told I would be given “hydration” only for that to cost $700 (using a different insurance). The hospital is in-network for Medi-Cal
Realistically, how much can I expect to pay if I apply my Medi-Cal insurance? My other (University provided) insurance I expected to not provide as much coverage, hence why the $700 charge (after insurance). Should I expect something similar? What is your experience with Medi-Cal? Thank you for hearing me out
