The difference between AliExpress and Temu

Issues & Disputes

I received an email stating my package had been delivered at 1:14 PM. Just two minutes later, I checked my porch, but there was nothing there. I called FedEx—without a doubt, the worst shipping company—and they refused to provide any information because the addresses didn’t match. Thankfully, I had the FedEx app installed, which allowed me to take screenshots highlighting the issue.

Next, I reached out to Temu, explaining that I believed a local warehouse had scammed me. I provided all the details along with the screenshots. Almost immediately, they credited my account with $5 and informed me that the matter would be investigated. After three days, my frustration reached a boiling point, so I warned them that I would initiate a chargeback within 48 hours. In response, they asked for more patience and added another $10 credit to my account.

By the sixth day, I had enough. I gave them a strict four-hour deadline to provide a final resolution. Two hours later, they issued me a $37 credit (complete refund) for the undelivered item. While I understand these are credits and not cash, I quickly spent the amount, unsure of when tariffs might take effect.

This resolution is something that would never happen on AliExpress—not in a million years. It would have dragged on for weeks, if not longer.
