another worried about cancer poster

Physician Responded

I’m 27F and reposting because of a major major typo! I'm really worried about my cancer risk from medical imaging. i had an upper Gl series that lasted 2.6 minutes as a 5 month-old baby and another upper GI series at 21. I also had 2 CT scans this year. One was my abdomen/ pelvis that was 19 msv of radiation. The other was my neck. I've also had like 8 chest x-rays from heart palpitations, covid, etc. i've also had typical dental X-rays and a few extremity x-rays as a toddler/child. i know that "benefit of info outweighs risk" but i really want to know how badly does this increase my risks of cancer? especially having had a almost 3 minute fluoroscopy as a 5 month old back in 1998 with older technology. sorry for a repost but i had a big typo on my age and i know age makes a difference with radiation exposure!
