Saw this 3 or 4 years ago one night in some apartments I used to live in. I was up late one night, it was maybe 1 or 2 am, I was in the kitchen making something to eat and when I grabbed my plate and turned to leave my kitchen there it was peaking around the trashcan at me, it was a dark gray with lighter gray stripes, I stopped and stood there looking at it trying to make sense of what it was, I never felt scared, more confused, after a few moments it moved fully behind the trashcan, that kinda freaked me out because I didn’t expect to see the thing move, but after I saw it start moving (and I know I’m gonna sound dumb or crazy for this) I tired to follow it hoping to make sense of what I was seeing, when I got over to the trashcan there was nothing, I then walked out to the living room looking around and didn’t see anything. My father and I have had quite a few paranormal encounters a couple of them we’ve experienced together, that’s one reason I followed it, so I could maybe tell him more about whatever I was seeing. He had a similar story where he saw something like I did, he never said what it looked like before I had this encounter other than it was shaped like a person, but after this happened I had him tell me what it looked like, and he described it being black or dark gray with lighter stripes. I never really think about this encounter much, but I’ve always been curious if anyone has also seen anything like this.

Has anyone seen anything that looks like this before?
