TMJ instead of PPPD?

Has anyone been diagnosed with PPPD or believed they had it but it was in reality dizziness with a TMJ issue? I have this cracking sound on my left jaw side and not sure if it’s an impacted wisdom tooth that really has been needing to be extracted for a couple years but I haven’t. I also got an implant in front of the wisdom tooth a year ago and I’m thinking maybe it messed up my TMJ causing my pppd like symptoms. I have also had Invisalign in the past. Only that side of my mouth cracks when I open wide.
