Jagex Launcher won't open

Title says it all. Game exited out while in the middle of Tai Bwo Wannai Trio, and now i just keep getting the message "Unfortunately the Jagex launcher was unable to start. Please check your connection and try restarting the launcher." I've restarted, uninstalled, reinstalled, tried ending the task tree through task manager. Not sure what else to do.
