On week 2
Part of the reason for starting this was due to sleep apnea as I could not sleep with or keep the cpap on. I had been able to lose a little over 30lbs on my own and got stuck. I feel more hungry than I was before zepbound. I could go so long without eating and then eat and eat and never feel full, but didn’t really have hunger pangs until starting this medicine. Sometimes I feel a little satisfied with eating since starting zepbound, but within an hour or two, I’m hungry again. My heartburn has reduced significantly. I also noticed I wake up easier and feel much more refreshed after sleeping. Still aiming for 115g of protein per day which was what helped me at the start of my journey. I need to work on increasing my fiber to 25g-30g and I’m hoping that will help me to feel satisfied longer. Does it get a bit better when you increase? Anyone else experience increased hunger? Doctor thinks I need to increase the dose, but still wants me to finish out the month to get my body use to it. The hunger is at its worst after I take the shot and gradually lessens throughout the week. Still eating smaller portions more frequently to stabilize my blood sugar. Any other tips or suggestions to know about?
