5070 Ti Won't Wake Up From Sleep

I "won" a NewEgg raffle to purchase a Gigabyte Gaming GeForce 5070 Ti. Despite some reservations over it's massive size, I went ahead and bought as it is difficult to obtain a new video card currently. My PC is set to go to sleep at 15 minutes when idle and I noticed that when doing so, this 5070 has a difficult time waking up with the RGB fans suddenly ramping up despite the case not being hot at all. At best, the PC reboots itself and at worse, I have to hit the reset button. This has never happened with my two prior GPU's (a 1650 Super and 7700XT).

Has anyone else experienced something similar? I've tried applying the latest hotfix but nothing seems to fix this. I am not sure if this is the "black screen" issue that's making the rounds with the 50 series cards. Other than perhaps preventing my PC from going to sleep, my only other alternative is to return this card.
