We all know that there was a wedding in the lunar palace between an angel and a "traveler from afar", and that after 30 days there was a calamity that got them and wiped their memory. The angels were reduced to seelies and the moon sisters killed each other. Since columbina has always been associated to angels, could she be the spouse?
