Has anyone got mitre tile edging round windows?

We’ve bought 24cm x 6cm porcelain tiles for our bathroom and have been told by our tiler that it’s not possible to mitre the edges around the window and we need to use tile trim or leave the edges exposed. Has anyone got an examples of this to disprove what he is saying?
