Maximize chance of UPT

I'm currently a sophomore more in high school. Becoming a pilot in the Air Force has been my dream every since I was 7. What can I do to maximize my chances or what is the path that will get me the highest chance of joining? Thank you!

I am considering a few options: 1: Join the USAFA. If I were to join the USAFA what is my chance of getting a seat at UPT and how can I improve it? 2: Join ROTC when I get into university. If I don't get accepted to USAFA, what can I do in ROTC to help my chances. Please provide as much detail as possible!
