Is the imiquimod working for me?

I’ve been using imiquimod cream to treat my warts for about 5 weeks now. Almost all of the warts started to turn red and scab over so now instead of warts I have a bunch of large red scab like blisters that just itch really bad. In fact, the itching gets pretty instense so much so that it wakes me up sometimes on nights when I put the imiquimod cream on. Is the cream working properly for me? How much longer until these large red scabs start to go away?
