$400 extra for the same gpu?
I currently have an RTX 2050 Victus laptop and I currently have a fallen key on it and a noisy hinge. It works fine so far for what I do and I can live with it for another year or two for school work but in terms of gaming I feel like it hasn’t really been working out, and it feels bad-ish to use. So I’ve been looking around for a newer laptop with a 4060.
I saw a bunch of 4060 laptops for $800 but I saw a G14 with a 4060, Ryzen 9 8945hs, OLED 3k 120hz screen. It caught my eye, and apparently it’s for sale, but it is $400 more for the same gpu with a better monitor and build quality so I’m not really sure if it’s worth the upgrade. I currently only have 1600 dollars in savings (I’m 15) so I’ll also be devastated if I break it since I can’t replace it.
I’m also afraid that tariffs will make laptops more expensive so I’m not sure if I should get one soon or not.
