Best ~$600ish laptop?

I'm not like a super hardcore gamer. I love TF2, Human: Fall Flat, Hollow Knight, LEGO games, etc. I also use Blender a lot and have been wanting to do more music production/video editing but my current specs (Intel i3-7100 CPU @ 3.90GHz, 8gb ram) I think are holding me back.

After many, many years of making it work with intel integrated graphics, I feel like its time for an upgrade. Not necessarily a huge one, but I'm just curious what the best thing I could get for around $600 is.

The Victus 15.5 seems promising but I hear a concerning number of stories of it just... dying out of nowhere. Not like running out of power, but just completely shutting down irreparably with no sign or warning.

If anyone has advice, I would appreciate it.
