And then there was one...A coming out story.

I am out to pretty much everyone that matters in my life. To be fair I don't have a long list of people I'm concerned with coming out to, outside of my close family and friends. So the only 2 people remaining on that list as of yesterday were my oldest son (21), that middle child...ya'll know those middle kids are built different hahah. Other than that. Just my mom.

My daughter (25) knows as well as my youngest son (16) and they are both super supportive. But my oldest son is very, very uh...country lol. He hunts, fishes, is into cars, etc and lives in a very rural, very "red" area of our state. So I genuinely wasn't sure what his reaction would be. Anyway, after a feeeew toooo many rum and cokes, I worked up the nerve to tell him. I basically sent him a novel (which he hates because in his words "ain't nobody got time for all that shit" lol) explaining my journey up to where I am now. I ended the text with "I understand this is probably not easy to hear. If you have questions I will be like an open book and completely honest. I only hope that you will accept me as I am and continue being in my life because I love you very, very much."

This fucking dude lol. He texts me back this morning:

"Oh thank God. I thought you were going to tell me you were vegan." He's got jokes lol.

Then follows up with:

"All jokes aside, I love you and that won't ever change."

He doesn't say a lot, but after being in his life and learning how to pick up on what he's laying down, I know that means that it really doesn't matter to him, as long as I'm happy.

I have some pretty awesome kids.

So that leaves my ultra conservative, ultra religious mother as the only person left to tell.

I'm going to need a case of rum for that one...lol. To be continued...

That's it...just wanted to share that I thought I was going to lose everyone, so far, most of the ones that matter to me are still there and still love me. Very happy girl today. Hugs and kisses and have an amazing weekend!!!
