M+ healers

I am stuck between two healers for m+ and occasional raids. Holy paladin or holy priest.

Which is better for puging? Easier? More intuitive? I am ok with melee and ranged healing.

And what is the proper rotation for each? In simple terms? (I understand it can change depending on situation).
