Transitioning from Android Development to AI: Where Should I Start?

I’m currently a 3rd-year BCA student and have fully learned Android development. However, I feel that Android development alone might not be enough for long-term job security, considering future trends.

I’m really interested in AI and want to incorporate it into my Android apps. But I’m unsure whether I should:

1. Learn AI from scratch—including deep learning, machine learning, and building models myself.

2. Get a basic understanding of AI—focusing on how AI works, how to train models, and then use existing AI models in my Android applications.

What would be the better approach for career growth and future opportunities? Anyone who has made a similar transition, I’d love to hear your insights!
