[GM4F] A Queen's Dilemma

There was nothing more you could do now

You thought silently, your hands gripping the cold marble railing to your palace balcony. You overlooked your capital, it's streets filled with bustling peasants and refugees being escorted by soldiers as they prepare for a harsh siege. You felt helpless now, feeling hope only in what you did to prepare.

Your mind begins to race with the events of the past weeks and your decisions up to this point, the things you considered allowing to yourself and your people. Could I have done more? What good are my morals now? They all ran through your mind just as you heard the knocks on your door. It was time to face the weight of your decisions now. Yet, just before you left the railing, you could see the unsettling fire-like banner rising above the horizon. His army approached, and his threats towards you and your body held heavy in your mind. You turn yourself away.

Thank you for reading! My main goal with this rp is to set your queen character through a pre-made but branching story outline set before the events of the prompt. You will take the role of a widowed queen (potentially a mother) beset by a bandit invasion which is set to destroy your realm. You will have to navigate the events leading up to the climactic ending, in which your choices and paths will decide the fate of your future. Some examples can include an untrustworthy but powerful neighboring young prince lending support, nomadic beastmen in your realm willing to make a pact, or perchance even parlaying with the bandit king himself. Will you be a queen that keeps to her high-born morals or become desperate enough to do anything to keep your power?

I'm looking for a literate and creative partner who's open to a longer form rp with a set conclusion. There is plenty of room for removing and adding certain kinks to make the story more enjoyable.
