Protip for quick good reviews

I'm currently working towards the free tuition at ASU online offered by Uber Eats. To get pro rewards including the scholarship, I need to have good reviews. What I like to do is I have a default message I send to customers. I have it saved on my phone and I copy and paste it. My message reads: "Good reviews help me earn a scholarship. Consider leaving me 5-stars in the app if I do a good job. Thanks! :)"

I send it at the beginning of the order, then I paste it again and edit the word "do" to "did" (because of past tense) in the dropoff desciption by the photo. I also found that briefly mentioning it to customers I interact with exponentially increases the amount of positive reviews.

As drivers, we are SCREWED with the current ratings system.

  • It completely ignores all the people who don't give any review at all, making bad reviews hold tons more weight.
  • Even when you do get a bad review, there is no way of seeing what the customer wrote. So you have no way of knowing what you did wrong, or if it was even your fault at all.

It's an absolute joke and until this system changes, I don't think it's a problem at all to briefly bring it to a customer's attention. Customers have been very helpful and kind with this.
