How chaotic would the game be if the 15 card extra deck limit was increased to 30 or higher?
In the early days of the game, the extra deck (or fusion deck, if you are a veteran) was unlimited. Back then, when the fusion deck and fusions in general were clunky, underwhelming and not worth the resources spent to summon them, that rule wasn't much of a problem.
Nowadays, with link, synchro, xyz, fusion and pendulum being so prevalent, could the game be healthy with the limit turned off? Could the game still function?
Imagine Tearlaments with 45 fusion cards or junk speeder with 30 synchro targets.
What are peoples thoughts on this idea? How much do we really rely on the extra deck?
