24 hours in Dublin - recommendations

If been reading lots of mixed info re Dublin. Some saying it's not worth staying and others saying they've loved it. So I guess this post is for those who have loved it.

What did you love about it?? And what would you recommend for others to do if they only have 24 hours in Dublin?? Also am interested in best pubs/cafes/restaurants too
