Cigarettes suddenly taste awful

I bought a pack recently and the first one tasted like shit, not the usual taste which is tolerable, tried a second and a third from the same pack and they're also awful. I got some doubts about this particular pack being a fake one, so I tried a different pack and it tasted the same

Anyone else faced this before?
