is there any reason to use straight over elpaca or elpaca over straight in 2025? current state of package managers?

I am starting over on my config again, but last time I tried making my config I used lsp bridge and I was able to just copy paste and get the code to work for straight.el, and this was something I was having trouble doing for alpaca, why was this? My main question I'm getting at is what is the state of package managers? Should I use elpaca or straight.el for a config that I plan on adding and growing over time for coding/notes? Also if anybody has examples/guides/anything that would assist me in making my config lmk. thanks
