university burnout - pls tell me this will be nothing in the grand scheme

Question

hiya, hoping to move on and delete this eventually but i'd really love for someone to tell me how small this problem will be eventually because it feels massive right now

i'm almost finished with my filmmaking degree: last module, final film. i'm on cinematography, huge for me as it's very competitive. but im so. so. burnt out. i've become really disorganised and forgetful and my energy is so low, and on top of that my course leaders reshaped the crewing process with no safeguarding for final films being directed by people who haven't done it before. so long story short, the director of this film has no clue what they're doing and constantly denies help. its my worst nightmare - they don't communicate with me and turn up on set with plans that derail my progress and it's making me feel like im failing. i dont have the energy to pick up after them.

i just feel like my work on the final module (supposed to be our best work!) is just not going to live up to my usual standard because of these two things and that's hugely disappointing to me.

i'm trying my best but im finding it very hard to put it into perspective, as i've worked three years for this and it feels like such a huge loss.

pls help thank u
