[m4m] my stepdad is a professor?! (wholesome, long term)

Ok, my last hour before the shift is up’ Adam thought tiredly as he continued ringing groceries, of course, the day was long and tedious, standing for 8 hours with two short windows of 15 minute relaxations was not the way most 20 year olds would spend a Saturday, but at least the pay was worth it, and hey, at least it allowed his head to shut off. Another beep interrupted Adams thoughts as he pushed himself through his last hour. At least he was going to his moms tonight, sure she was never around, her showing up today, announcing that she said something important to tell him after he was done working was the first time hed even hear from her in months, but hey, it was a humongous place, and his room was far more comfortable then his fathers. But whatever it was, he was excited to be left alone.

'Its not like you two ever really cared to stay anyway' Adam thought a bit bitterly as he sighed, finishing up his last bit and wiping his register clean. They were never. there. one too upset about the divorce to care and the other too busy with work to ever pay attention to him, it was all he was used to. Being alone, its not like he got to go to college or make friends or anything like that, nope, Adam lived a much simplier life then most 20 year olds. But, at least the paycheck was nice, heaven forbid his parents ever actually try to gift him something apart from food and a place to live. But still, there was peace in his mothers place, just him with a nice paycheck, leftovers and a whole house to himself? That was nice.

As Adam was beginning to clock out his manager walked behind him, a small petite woman named Janet "you did good today, thanks for staying that extra bit" "Oh! it was no problem, really!" Adam smiled eagerly, jumping at the bit for any sort of affection, he felt happy talking to adults "I mean it! any time you need someone for a shift call me" Adam offered, he had nothing to do at home anyway, might as well try to impress someone. "thanks adam" Janet smiled back and waved him off.

As adam was biking down the suburban fields, the air crisp and blowing againts him on a warm summer night, the street orange lights illuminating his pale skin, he was curious about what the news could be...maybe she would stay for a bit and they could watch a movie! or one of his favorite shows! that put adam bike a little faster as he headed towards his place.

"hi mom! What is it that you wanted to tell me" Adam asked as he plopped his backpack on the couch, tugging on his hoodie slightly and removing his headphones. But instead of a warm smile, she let out an anxious fustrated look "hes coming here and you look like that" his mother mumbled bitterly, glancing at his green hoddie and baggy jeans. "huh? what was that" adam asked as he walked into the living room to talk to her. "alright" his mother crossed his arms and looked down at her son "damien is coming to stay for a while, hes away for a sabatical and will be with us for the time being, which means you need to be well dressed at all times, you also need to be on your best behavior, so try not to talk to him ok? I dont want you overwhelming him with your....habits" his mother said. Adam was furious, someone else he was going to have to deal with, taking up his space, another adult coming into his life to forget him? Oh adam just knows he will say "hi" offer him a smile a few times, maybe exchange some words of wisdom adam will secretly cherish like most of moms other boyfriends did the few times he saw them. but he would be forgotten soon enough. At least this one managed to get himself enganged, he looked nice from what he could tell.Well..thats a lie..him and his mother we're absolutely breathtaking together, Adam was stunned someone like that could exist. "Oh, by the way" his mother stopped adam before he could leave to his room "Hes a professor, so make sure you referm to him as "Dr. Wolfgang" not "damien" understand? He actually has achieved something"

"easy for you to say when you decided to trade a tuition for a new car" Adam added bitterly before slamming the door shut to his room, burying his head in a pillow before he would have to meet his new stepdad the next day

Hi friends, Im looking for a more wholesome long term story thats a little cliche: a neglected young man eventually falls in love into a rich business man. Id love this to be more of a story then something kinky, although there will be lots of that too, but i would love this to be a journey where both of our characters learn from each other (for example, something like Adam explains video game lore and Damien chuckles and says "you have the mind of a historian!", and eventually the complex feelings that arrive from that. I know this is short but above is an idea of my writing, and would love to talk someone a bit more and build something together.
