12/20/2025 visit questions

Hi all.

I will be visiting windsor on 12/20/25. My mother is coming with me and is handicap. She has a handicap placard and a wheelchair.

We are planning to do some Christmas shopping at Devonshire mall.

Are there handicap parking spots up close? Is there an entrance to the mall that is best suited for her and wheelchair? Does windsor and Ontario accept US issued placards?

I want to make this as easy and fun as possible for my mom and myself. She's not a traveler so getting her to agree to come with me is a REALLY big deal! I want to spoil her with time, attention, affection and material things. She's worked her butt off for 65 years and I've saved lots of $$$ for this trip. I want her to have your best day of her life without any difficulty associated with her disability.
