Best build for under 700$?
Hello everyone! This is my first time building a pc, and I'm uninformed on what are the current standards for the industry currently (what is the minimum gpu VRAM for mid-end gaming? best cpu for multitasking? and so on). I've been looking through guides that show the best price-to-performance components. I was initially planning on only spending around 500 USD for the build, however due to worries about future-proofing 700 is the best I can do at the moment. I went on PCPartPicker and chose what I think are the most optimal budget choices: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/DwGjb2
• New build or upgrade? New Build
• Existing parts/monitors to reuse? None
• PC purpose? Mostly gaming, editing, rendering and VMs
• Purchase country? Near Micro Center? LATAM, Colombia
• Monitors needed? None, I'm scavenging here
• Budget range? Ideally 650~, I can afford 700$ atm, and at max 800$
• WiFi or wired connection? Both
• Size/noise constraints? Just size, I'm looking for a Mid ATX form factor
• Color/lighting preferences? No RGB is ok!
• Any other specific needs? I'm worried about the motherboard supporting AM4 and not AM5, which isn't ideal if I want to upgrade my cpu in the future. Thing is, other AMD processors that I checked with that infrastructure + motherboard put me over the budget 😔 I'm also not sure if extra cooling is necessary and if the case I picked is good. Thanks for reading <3
