Changes between KCD and [KCD2]

I was wondering about improvements. Here are some questions I would like to ask for people that already played KCD and KCD2:

1.Does the saving system have better distribution throughout the campaign? Is it possible to save at the start of an action, or will we have to redo tons of things before the real deal?

2.Is the quest design improved? Are there still "pad the content" quests where you are forced to collect hundreds of items throughout the map just to continue the main campaign? Or puzzle missions like the one in the cloister?

3.Did they keep the clock system where, in the last hour, time slows down unnecessarily and just takes longer to reach the goal? I just hate that moment XD

4.Better inventory management?
