Terrible WAM

Hey, so I fucked up. I failed 15 CP worth of units in my first year. My current wam is about 53. I’m in the 2nd Sem of 2nd year. My results are gradually improving, but still nowhere near enough to make up for my first year.

I am an international student, so this makes it all the worse. I probably won’t be able to get any internships in the near future unless I can somehow get my wam up to at least a Credit.

My question is, is it really still realistic for me to get my WAM up to a distinction by the end of my (4 year) degree? Has anyone been able to achieve this, or am I glutton for punishment?

Side note: I got diagnosed with ADHD, so is it worth applying for the disability services? More importantly, will the uni disregard my first year units’ results (that I failed) if I show them my diagnosis? If I’m not wrong it is called a FR?
