Should I feel bad about this?
Alright so, I absolutely loved CS one,and a waited for months for the sequel to come out and just started playing it yesterday, the question I have is,if you mess up at the beginning,is it acceptable or scummy to make a new save? I've still got the old one, just made a new one and got back to where I roughly was, (here's the potential spoilery bit) so one my first save, took to long, when i got back from the crumbling derelict ship (I let the girl take the data),after she left, immediately had got thrown into the escape bit, after getting to the (can't remember station rn) I had three broken dice from running out of supplies on the salvage contract, didn't have the girl,(I'm assuming after meeting her to get the fuel lines she's permanent crew-idrk if that's true),and didn't have the fuel lines. I,safe to say, did not feel good,so I started a new save, did better, went faster, and I'm now to the point where her apartments Available to visit, with four cycles left before i have to leave,(I will add I used some, probably unnecessary, save scumming for a few positive outcomes),the thing is, I'm hesitant, yeah I messed up on the first save, but I did so organically, and I could still continue even if it wasn't great, I'm asking you, fellow sleepers,if I should keep playing on the first save,or just continue with the second,I like how I've got the second set up more, but I did so artificially, already knowing what was going to happen, and am better off for it, whereas on the first, yeah, kinda sucks how this happened, but it's how my real first time playing the game happened, and I can still make it work, I'm torn between a more comfortable and controlled beginning before I get to deep to go back,or the organic consequence of how I played initially, please, share your thoughts.
