Complex minescus tear

33M I did an MRI for my right knee and the doctor + report stated that I have a complex tear in my minescus. Doctor recommended surgery straight away. I went to another doctor and he also recommended surgery. I spoke to some other doctors living abroad and they all said I don't have to do surgery, physiotherapy is enough and can help me recover.

I don't have an issue with surgery but my entire family is pushing me to avoid surgery and do the physiotherapy. The problem is that now my other knee is also starting to pain a lot and in fact it's paining more than the knee which was diagnosed... should I just do the surgery or give physiotherapy a shot.
