Scam the Scammers
So my wife and I split up temporarily. During that time she was contacted by an individual that sent her a fake check with her info printed on it for the address looking like it was from a legit bank. Anyhow, she deposited it and withdrew the money via check from the bank. She sent the scammer the check via USPS and after it updated in the system as on the way she sent him the tracking information. Now at this point you would have thought well that's it, she will never see that money again. Trust me the thought crossed my mind as well. I thought for sure I was going to be paying off this debt for a while but you know she even surprised me. Like a genius she did something that was completely unexpected. She contacted the post office to begin a devious plan to fake out this scammer. She contacted them and rerouted the check back to her very own address. Now the scammer is watching the tracking info showing that the package is in transit without any other updates. Then she contacted the police department, turned in all the info including the envelope with the address from the scammer as well as the address where the check was supposed to be sent. Now the scammer is waiting not only on a package that will never show but, the police department there expecting the scammer on the supposed date when the package is supposed to show up. So point of the story is that she scammed the scammer by making him thinking he scored a ton of money but, is only getting a nice new set of shiny bracelets on for all his trouble. Talk about a genius plan to screw him. LOLOLOOLOLOOLOLOLOOL
