i want to get a betta after not having one for a little after mine died, but i'm scared my tank isn't ready for one
I have a 5 gallon tank (it's the best i can get because anything bigger is too expensive as far as i can see) with a filter and heater (not entirely sure how the filter or heater work yet but i should probably figure that out lol) some plants from my last fish (that had until it died last year) gravel as substrate, a couple hiding places, it's a square tank, and nothing too rough fins could get caught on, but i feel like it isn't enough and i'm not ready yet. am i just being anxious or am i actually forgetting something? i also have food pellets, a net, and water conditioner (outside of what the tank itself has) (i promise i have a halter and heater they're just not in the picture
