need some advice on buying a cheap first car!

i’m 18 and a uni student and am looking for a car! i passed my test last yr in july and have got about £5k in total to spend for the car including both the car and the insurance. oh yeah and i have an auto only license lol

i’m not sure what kind of car to get tbh as this price range is a bit difficult but any advice would be helpful lol thanks
