Social opportunities for kids of digital nomads

Hi - our family is starting our digital nomading journey this summer, with 6 months in Ontario (Waterloo, Toronto, and Ottawa), before potentially going to Europe next. Our daughter, 10, will be doimg school virtually. She's pretty social, and while she'll be able to keep in touch with current friends via Messenger Kids, we'd like her to find chances to hang out with other kids while we're travelling at a slow pace. We're thinking of finding if we can find some sports camps or a sports league for a few weeks, but any other advice or reference points from other digital nomads with kids of how to get them some good in person time with other kids?
