New Kitten - Allergies

Hello! Quick question for the group… I just adopted a tortie kitten today and I was wondering if anyone else experiences pretty serious allergy symptoms only around torties? I have had several cats over my life including Maine coons, several domestic shorthairs (orange grey black white) domestic longhairs, and most recently a Russian blue. I have never once experienced any kind of allergic reaction to a cat or dog or pet in general. This kitty has me seriously stopped up every time I touch her with itchy bloodshot eyes and all. She was surrendered from her prior owner today and we quite literally took her from them directly and came straight home so Could it be there is something lingering on her that I am allergic too or is there just an off chance that this is the only cat I’ve ever had an issue with? Any advice is much appreciated!
