You awake in a dingy, dark room on a stone floor, with only a dirty rag that could barely be called a dress on. Confused and scared you look around the room. Besides the grimey walls all you can see is a rusty metal door blocking your way to freedom. On your neck, you feel a solid metal collar. Last night, your drunk father decided to sell you to the slave auction to fund his addiction. Though father is a strong word for how little he did for you, when he even acknowledged your existence.

After hours of sitting in the dark with only your thoughts of dread and stench of death from the next room over keeping you company, you finally hear the sounds of heavy boots in the hallway moving towards your room. You hear some indistinguishable conversation before the small hatch in the door opens, blinding you with light.

"I'll take her." is all you hear.
