Samsung TV connection issues

Have had a Beam soundbar for about 2 years and worked fine until recently. Now I can’t get it to consistently play the sound through the soundbar. Tried some troubleshooting with the Anynet CEC setting but no luck with that. If I unplug the TV and the soundbar then it will all connect and work properly but don’t want to have to do that every time I watch TV.
