26 [F4M] in the southwest, USA

Hi all I'm 26 F and giving this sub a try for the first time. I'll be honest dating apps scare me, l've been on them before and gotten matches but l'm always too scared to message back. Maybe I need anonymity to help get the conversation started...

I'll get the appearances out of the way to save most of you time. I'm plus size, but not in the cute way ok. Just fat and no big boobies to make up for it unfortunately so move along if that's a no no for you. I'm 5'4 with medium brown hair, brown eyes, and wear glasses. Im Mexican American (parents from MEX and I was born in USA) and I'm kinda pale.

In terms of what l'd like in a relationship l'd like something monogamous. I’d like someone around my age (maybe 24-30ish?). I don't want to have kids, but pets (especially a dog or two) would be nice some day. I currently live at home with my parents. I've got a bachelors degree and a full time job and my own car. I'm not particularly religious but I was raised Catholic. Politically I'm left leaning but I prefer to avoid talking about politics. I'd need someone patient and attentive... I've never been in an actual relationship before. I think I've covered the boring basics... anything I missed feel free to ask me.

More about my personality I am very much a shy and quiet person, especially around new people. I believe I have some form of social anxiety to be honest. I'm introverted and have enjoyed my alone time. I stay home a lot watching shows/movies, I like to go out to thrift stores and book stores, boba tea and chai tea lattes are my favorites and I like trying them at new spots when I get a chance. Sometimes I take photos, but usually only If I go somewhere interesting. I’m very much an amateur who doesn’t know what she’s doing lol. I also do Postcrossing which is my main hobby where I send postcards to people around the world.
