Voice chat on docked switch with usb mic?

Hey, i'm new to rocket league. I just made a post a little bit ago about ranked. Was anybody able to get voice chat working on a docked switch with a usb mic? I have the rode usb mini, and was hoping i could use it. I also have jbl headphones i could connect wired, not sure if that would work. They have a mic, but i dont know if it sends signal through the cord. I have a random pair of gaming headphones i can use if i need to, and even if the switch supports vc.
