Rubyfruit in LA closed -- any info on possible reopening?

I just recently moved to LA, but have visited many times before and was so happy to move close to my favorite spot as a 30 something sapphic gal in a new city! But right after moving, I saw that they closed down and was so disappointed! Does anyone have any information about what happened and whether its a permanent or temporary closure?

Also would love to hear of other similar areas that queer/sapphic folx have, especially around East LA. Always looking for a new watering hole :) Much thanks!
