If you have an autoimmune disease or another internal illness: do you still have lymph fluid on your fully healed piercings?
I (21F) got my nipples pierced when I was 18. They healed perfectly. They are not infected (no itching, smell, bleeding, or green goo).
I still have a lot of lymph fluid on my jewelry most days. I have noticed that the amount of fluid accumulating can fluctuate - I usually find less fluid on the days when I feel physically better overall (bad pain/high stress days = more crust). I've logged it in my symptom tracker, so I know I'm not imagining it. On really bad days, my underarms will become sore and swollen.
If you have an autoimmune disease or another internal illness and piercings, have you experienced something similar? Is there anything else comparable that may be a little different but related? TIA!
