Considering replacing PD Everyday 20L Zip with Aer City Pack Pro 2.

Curious if anyone has any thoughts about making this switch. I got the PD bag last year to travel with a Sony A6400 and lens.

Conceptually the bag makes perfect sense, but in real world use there are some pains.

I only need a very small section on one side of the bag for the camera, but the shelves aren't designed to bend 90 degrees.

The capacity seems small for the size of the bag due to the padding. I've placed the one shelf I use pretty low in the bag to maximize space above it, but that make it sometimes difficult to get my camera out.

The interior organization is hard to access, both the pockets in the side panels as well as the stash pocket in the laptop compartment. This makes it kind of hard to drop stuff in there quickly while moving through TSA.

It's comfortable enough, but the swivel mechanism used on the straps makes the bag feel unstable to wear.

I've been playing with the idea of trying a camera cube insert either in the PD bag instead of the shelves, or trying the Aer (or another bag) with an insert.
