Got my period after 5 months!!!

I have been without a period since October 20, 2024. Usually I have very distinct ovulation cramps and then period cramps. I thought my period had just lightened so much since I have an IUD that I didnt notice it anymore, but then I realized that I didn't feel those cramps for months which are typically quite uncomfortable, so I began thinking it must be my PCOS.

But finally, a week and a half ago, I had ovulation cramps, and today I had period cramps and spotting!! I have been eating a bit healthier and making sure I am moving more. I am also on metformin. I feel proud, although not sure if it was really anything I'm doing or if its a coincidence, but just feels relieving to have it (for this month, at least).
