Why is YouTube's speeding option destroys the bass?

First of all, I just wanted to say that I'm just a minority and not everyone wants to listen to a sped up song, but it's still worth pointing it out. Plz don't attack me in the comments 😭

Okay seriously, every time i try to listen to a song while also being a little faster, YouTube speeding method will make the bass off-key and it's quite annoying. So every time if I want to listen to a sped up song, I had to download the MP3, put it in a DAW (I use FL Studio), and sped up that way.

I have actually tested them out myself with a real-time visualizer: one video is a sweep at 1x speed, and the other is 1.5x speed. The 1.5x speed got the bass hammered. (Sorry if this forces you to download a video, I don't know how to send a video directly)

I need an explanation 😔
