How do I (25M) bring back the flow/spark with “Grace” (24F)?

I have been seeing (let’s just call her “Grace”) (24F) for a few months and the vibe has been so good up until the last week or two.

We met randomly on a trip and have been going with the flow, it has created such a good fun vibe between us. We regularly see each other, our sex is really good and we’ve been enjoying getting to know each other.

However, a week or so ago I had a breakdown due to anxiety. I recently quit my job as it was terrible for my mental health, and have a two month break to reset before my new work that pays quite well.

Grace comforted and provided me great support in the moment. The following week, I wasn’t in the best place and I was all over the place. I felt uptight as a result of my work behaviour - I felt like I needed to be doing something productive and haven’t been able to switch off.

My bad habits of disorganisation came out during that week as well as indecision around organising plans with her (I have family stuff going on as well), and it has made her resent me. She has also been sick for a while, and our intimacy has simmered down a bit from that point as well.

We spoke it out, and we came to a conclusion - how am I suppose to date and take care of her if I can’t even take care of myself. She still likes me, but is skeptical that if I can’t hold myself now, how will I be able to do it when things get serious (I think this is very valid).

She’s had two bad relationships previously and I’m giving signs of her previous guys. She’s also going to Europe and is skeptical I won’t cope emotionally without her (I will be 100% fine).

Our dynamic is now different and she’s become more cold, but still wants to keep seeing me. The concept of dating also put her on edge.

I’d love some advice on how to navigate this period, I don’t want to switch up the energy I had while it was good, but I don’t want to “play hard to get” as she plays things straight.

I really like her and I want to give “us” the best shot, even if it isn’t meant to be.
