* The Mets are 13-13 and 4 ties this spring, scoring 132 runs and allowing 109 runs. There will be one more spring training game this season. The Mets end spring training playing the Yankees on Monday. Marcus Stroman is the scheduled starter for the Yankees.

* The Mets are 833-878 and 67 ties in spring training all-time, 15-14 and one tie last year. The Mets last had a tie on March 14th against the Cardinals, a 3-3 tie game.

* The Mets will be on SNY for the final spring game on Monday. Monday's game will also be on the MLB Network.

* Juan Soto leads the team with four homers followed by Brett Baty, Alexander Canario and Jose Siri with three homers each. Jose Siri leads the team with 11 RBI followed by Brett Baty who has 10 RBI. Julio Rodriguez and Eugenio Suarez lead the majors with 16 RBI.

* Opening day for the regular season will be Thursday, March 27th against the Astros at Houston, followed by a three game series in Miami to play the Marlins. The Mets home opener will be Friday, April 4th against the Toronto Blue Jays at Citi Field.

* The Mets are 262-320 and one tie against the Houston Astros, 1-2 last year and 4-2 postseason. The Mets are 21-30 at Daikin Park, formerly known as Minute Maid Park.

* Pete Alonso has 226 homers for the Mets. He is third in franchise history behind Darryl Strawberry with 252 homers and David Wright with 242 homers. Mike Piazza had 220 homers with the Mets. Of course Pete Alonso would have had many more homers if the 2020 season were not limited to 60 games. Since 2019, Pete Alonso leads the National League with 226 homers with Aaron Judge hitting 232 homers and crayon eater Kyle Schwarber hitting 212 homers. Juan Soto has 179 homers since 2019.
