Rick and Frank’s backstory…

I know a lot of people thing they they are con artists or something. But after last week’s episode I got a feeling like maybe they used to be somehow tied to intelligence work - like expendable contractors that the CIA can have in a country to make connection or do some dirty work, but can be cut loose.

So like scammers, but better funded when on a job. Frank’s story just seemed like the kind of hedonistic oblivion that someone might try and find after seeing too much gnarly shit and is suddenly no longer in the game.

After this episode it feels even more like that. I mean, Frank figures that Rick plans on killing the guy, lightly tries to talk him out of out, but ultimately just goes along with everything despite a feeling that things would get messy…even when he’s seen that the woman has armed body guards. I don’t know if that really seem like “just a scammer” behavior
