Advice

It seems odd (from my POV) that being trans seems to mean trying to take over an existing gender (women) rather than creating your own gender (trans or trans women) and being proud of what you are.

It makes me a little disappointed to see transgender individuals get offended or mad because others don’t want to call them women.

Women are clearly different than transgender.

Transgender is its own beautiful thing.

It seems like shame is driving this desire to escape what you are to become something you’re clearly not.

To be clear, I am dating a trans woman and refer to her as a woman/her/she because she is feminine and it makes her comfortable to use those terms.

I’m not here to attack or judge anyone with malicious intent.

This is simply my point of view which I’m sharing to see if others agree with me and/or if there’s something I’m missing which can change my perspective to greater support my partner and the community 🏳️‍⚧️
