I’ll level with you: I’m feeling really nostalgic. The days of MSN messenger and T9 texting did wonderful things for naughty chats, but with time, the charm was lost. The internet and instant messengers became sterile and surveiled.

I long for the days where hot texts had a character limit. Of creative emoticons, and pornographic ASCII images because sending photos wasn’t part of the cell plan.

Mostly, I loved the fleeting nature of it. You could hit up your flirt in the hopes that they were on their phone — and if they weren’t, you’d get a sexy (if disjointed) message as a treat several hours later.

Won’t someone please help me relive that?
